Privacy notice
How Infoblu Limited uses personal data across its websites and products, and how to see, correct or delete what we hold.
Who we are
Infoblu Limited is the controller of your personal data. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 11499227, at 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. Write to hello@infoblu.io with any question about your data.
This notice covers all our websites and products. We never sell personal data.
What we collect and why
- Visiting our websites. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to serve each page and keep the site secure. Our pages set no tracking cookies; a product you sign in to sets one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. Where we count page views we use cookieless, aggregate analytics. Some products keep your work in your own browser and never send it to us. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running secure websites.
- Writing to us. We use your name, email address and message to answer you, and delete them when the matter is closed. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you, or our contract with you if you are a customer.
- Buying from us. Our payment provider takes your payment, so we never see your full card number. We receive your name, email address, billing country, what you bought and the amount, to deliver your order, send your receipt and keep our accounts. We keep this sales record for six years, as UK tax law requires. Legal basis: our contract with you and our legal duties.
- Using a product. Some products need more than the sales record to work, for example the names you ask us to put in a kit, a document you send us to read, or an account you sign in to. We use that data only to provide the product and delete it when it is no longer needed, as stated on the product's page. Legal basis: our contract with you.
- Emailing your business. We email people at companies and other organisations about products relevant to their work, using their name, job title, work email and organisation. We take these from the organisation's website, public registers and a licensed business-contact provider. We never cold-email sole traders, partnerships or private individuals. Every email says how to stop, and we delete your details 12 months after our last contact unless you become a customer. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering relevant products; you can object at any time and we stop.
- People in our reports. Our reports are built from public registers and are about organisations, not individuals. If you think a report names you, write to us.
Who we share it with
Providers that process data on our instructions and under contract: hosting and database services, our payment provider, email services, and AI services used to read documents or draft replies (under terms that do not allow training on your data). We also share data with the authorities where the law requires.
Some providers are based outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Each transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. Write to us for a copy of the safeguard that applies.
Your rights
You can ask us, free of charge, for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it (for marketing we always stop), and to receive data you gave us in a portable format. Write to hello@infoblu.io; we answer within one month and may ask you to confirm who you are.
We make no automated decisions with legal or similar effect on you. Our products are for adults and businesses, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
If you are unhappy with how we have used your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put it right first.
Changes
We date every version of this notice at the top of the page. If we change how we use data you have already given us, we tell you before the change applies.
